In both the 19th century and the 20th century, the Ku Klax Klan (KKK) exemplified the polarity of the United States. Amidst global conflicts as well as milestone national ones, white discriminators consumed the hate resting within the democracy of the country. Our country, the United States, may be a rich one and powerful one, but we, just as everyone else, are easily consumable by raging animosity and a disdain for basic human rights. Whether we like it or not, this is our country and our flag can represent everything about our country, including the Ku Klux Klan.
