top hatch access to back seats
The top is split into three separate rectangles, each with a unique and important purpose. The rectangles spread almost full width of the top which provides a more modern look, illustrating openness, breadth, and a more elegant form. Starting on the right, the skylight to the driving area is the second source of direct natural light (supplementing the front windshield) and, similar to passenger cars, creates a much more pleasant environment for drivers and passengers alike. The top hatch drops down into the back section as the second entrance to the back area. The hatch can be used in case of emergency the only top access is available or for casual use to avoid the back door. Finally, the large solar panel on the back will keep the vehicle supplied with solar energy which, if covered by snow, will not inhibit the vehicle in any way.

The top sectional drawing shows, the floor layout of the two sections. Here, the hexagonal design pattern is very apparent in both the driver and passengers eats, the additional seating and storage in the driving section, and the shape of the main seats and storage in the back. The pieces in the back serve both as seats and storage and, here, they are shown in their default position but are modular in design. With the angled design of the furniture, access to the back for big objects is clear and comfort is maximized with the amount of seating (there is an available surface area for two single size beds if the furniture is re-arranged).
