My self-portrait of three people with my face chasing each other to the end of a limb on a tower is symbolic of the atmosphere of achievement I live in. As a young adult, I feel my life is constantly defined by achieving a certain mark or getting to a certain milestone with no time to look back or reflect. Often I feel like I am just chasing myself, trying to keep up, that sentiment is what inspired my self-portrait.
